The Ibero-American Theater Festival of La Rioja was born with the idea of creating a space for cultural encounter, a window to the world. The idea is to provide society with a perspective from the different contemporary theatrical viewpoints of Ibero-America.
FITLO creates a network of cultural exchange between Latin America and the Iberian Peninsula, promoting theatrical circulation. Since 2017, FITLO has become a meeting point for work, reflection, and thought from diverse countries and cultures.
The Cultural Association La Carcoma Durmiente and Chamán Artes Escénicas carry out this project to foster understanding between societies from different geographical locations through the performing arts.
