Ruth on the Rocks

Ruth Guerra is just your average middle-aged Mexican-American girl who grew up on the South Side of Chicago and loves a good drink or ten, improvisations, and a messy relationship. Oh! She’s also a mother and grandmother, a regular at some bars and backyards, a sometimes actress and storyteller, and she still mourns her father. She probably needs a therapist or an ayahuasca trip, but instead, this veteran of Chicago’s underground Latin performance and storytelling scene made a play about the disaster of her life.
