‘‘Filtro’ is a fictional story based on the events that took place in Montevideo on the night of August 24, 1994. The piece is designed for a small team of performers who will address the multiple characters who star in this story, which is not a fable; it is not based on a literary text but on real materials, which will be dramatized following different compositional principles. The goal is to create a work of documentary fiction, where theatricality addresses the message through emotion. The spatial design of ‘Filtro’ is designed with simplicity in mind and is designed with a compact layout, allowing for the free configuration of different spaces; a solid stage design for a production where form organizes content. A functional stage space that is meaningful in relation to the message of this piece.
